I have a Dell Inspiron 8000 using FreeBSD 4.6 (just installed). I inserted 'Device pcm' in the kernel and recompiled it. After I restarted my computer I typed in 'dmesg | grep pcm' but I didn't get anything...what could I be doing wrong?
