1.If i follow instructions at:
http://www.freebsd.org/java/install.html would it
enable java to be run on a Fbsd machine ?
2.Should this path exist on the machine, assuming
default instal?
cd /usr/ports/java/jdk 
3. Why is there a whole section on building a port
from Porters handbook when any one can run Java by
following instructions at:
http://www.freebsd.org/java/install.html
