Crist,

thanks for your help - another question - I have the new IP address
on the machine - how do I publish it so that it can be found from
other networks? I tried:

arp -s new_ip ether_addr pub

but it returned the message

cannot intuit interface index and type for new_ip

any idea what is going wrong

Marcus
