I tried in on a Sony GRX-570 laptop, and get the same results that I
get with the version in 5.2 beta.

The hardware works. When I unplug/plug the power, I get a log message
about the profile changing between economy and performance.

Suspend (S3) still doesn't work. If I'm running X I get dumped back
to the console. I see
  fwohci0: fwohci_pci_suspend
and the screen dims a bit/fan stops. Hitting a key causes the screen to
brighten and the fan to restart, but nothing further.
