Actually, FreeBSD supports its own native ELF format (using John
Polstra's Elfkit) and Linux's.  Since Linux doesn't stamp their ID on
their own elf binaries, you also need to "brand" them with elfbrand if
you're using a mix of both FreeBSD and Linux ELF binaries.
