Actually he seems to have commented Xft out in
ports/www/phoenix/Makefile,v 1.10. I'm not sure if he still thinks it
plain won't build, all that's needed is (shameless copy/paste from
mozilla-devel):
@${REINPLACE_CMD} -e 's|X11/Xft/Xft\.h|X11/Xft/Xft2.h|g' \
${WRKSRC}/gfx/src/gtk/nsDrawingSurfaceGTK.cpp \
${WRKSRC}/gfx/src/gtk/nsFontMetricsXft.h
I had some trouble with this building phoenix from CVS
[http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=175523], check comment #12
from Keith Packard who considers this a bug. (Yes, he doesn't blame the
right people, but you get the point).
