I'm sorry, I should have made that more clear. I'm not changing a thing.
All I'm doing is copying GENERIC to TRUMAN and then trying to recompile.
I've tried this with only changing the ident field to TRUMAN also. So,
running a diff on the two config files would give nothing.

Thanks for any kernel light which can be shed upon this problem :)
