it seems that /usr/include/signal.h has the fix in CVS, its Id is:
$FreeBSD: src/include/signal.h,v 1.28 2009/03/14 20:10:14 das Exp $

please be so kind and point me to a doc about using SVN with FreeBSD;
the handbook only talks about the existance and about how to use CVS;
