boot1 and boot2 live in the area before the disklabel, which is before the
superblock for the first partition in the slice.

There are only two instances where 0/0/0 is overwritten :
 - When BootEasy is installed to provide the same functionality as SC.
 - When the entire disk is treated as a single slice (the Use All Disk/No
   option in the installer).
