Cookies have nothing to do with OS or with Perl. It has to do with what web browser you're using, and how your application is written. If you write your application correctly, you can use cookies just fine. To find out how to do that with Perl, type 'perldoc CGI'. IE doesn't run on FreeBSD. If this isn't enough information for you, please ask in an appropriate place (news:comp.infosystems.www.cgi.authoring).
