In any case the "institutional memory" of FreeBSD with respect to problem
reports is the Problem Report database.  I'd suggest filing one of those
before giving up entirely.

Of course, you will no doubt find, in looking through the PR database, that
your bug is only one of many, so set your expectations realistically.
