/etc/rc.conf, you'd add something similar to this:

ifconfig_ex0="inet 10.0.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.0"
ifconfig_ex0_alias0="inet 10.0.0.2 netmask 255.255.255.0"
defaultrouter="10.0.0.254"

Take a look at /etc/defaults/rc.conf for all the possible configuration
variables..
