today i tried again a windows formatted ZIP disk with mtools. First
with a line in /usr/local/etc/mtools.conf

drive z: file="/dev/afd0s4" <--- this does not work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i had a message like

init Z: sector size too big
 Cannot initialize 'Z:'

this message i have never seen before, so i gave poking around with
mtools.conf another try. Looking at solaris examples, i edited

drive z: file="/dev/afd0s4" partition=4 # this works!!!!

and now it works!
