OK, good.  I basically just wanted some feedback on what our
libc and threading libraries are lacking/not implementing
properly in order to support a native JDK.

See http://people.freebsd.org/~jasone/kse .  Jason's time will
be very limited now, so someone needs to pick up the ball WRT the
kernel side of things.  I can probably handle a majority of the
necessary library changes.  This should be taken off the java
list (probably -arch) if there's any need for follow-ups.
