Hmm..  The only thing I'm thinking is my motherboard
is a dual-processor, however only one processor is
installed and the other CPU slot is terminated.  It
has never been a problem, but maybe a kernel rebuild
would help?  Would there be anything in the kernel
config to look at concerning this?
