Hi there.I am a relative newbie to FreeBSD and UNIX in general.I am a Computer Science major and have some research work to be done at the ip kernel level of FreeBSD.I found this link "Linux IP Networking A Guide to the Implementation and Modification of the Linux Protocol Stack " at http://kernelnewbies.org/documents/ipnetworking/linuxipnetworking.html . An overview tells me this is exactly what i would have needed to start with if i were doing my work in Linux. Can anyone who has a good idea of both linux and FreeBSd tell me if this will pretty much suffice for FreeBSD too? I know the concepts are going to be similar like ip networking. But when it comes to system calls and stuff is it much different? Wouldappreciate the help very much.
