I have all the stuff mentioned in INSTALL file of smbfs
I have src/sys/crypto
I also enabled using encrypted password in config.mk
eventhough I have DES

My FreeBSD version is 4.0 Release
and my samba version is 2.0.7
I have no problem accessing this shares with smbclient
