I > suspect I am missing something simple :) Turns out I was. The simple thing was that the users I was testing with weren't in the NIS maps. Annoying and irritating, but worth mentioning in case anybody was planning to waste any cycles helping me with this. Customer: "I have a problem." Support: "Have you checked to see whether you're stupid?" Customer: "Oh, that's right, I _am_ stupid. That's the problem." Support: "Glad to be of service."
