Exactly.
If you'd read up on PPP (ahem ahem), you'd have learned that you switch to
another vty and do whatever internet stuff you want to do. Or the new PPP
supports a command to move itself to the background (don't know what it is.
surely in the man page).
Er, you may need to add "nameserver xx.xx.xx.xx" lines to your
/etc/resolv.conf in order for DNS to work.
