Hello, Do I necessarily have to use a driver module to access the registers in a PCI card from an application, or this can be done directly from the app, possibly only configuring the correct permissions and other parameters at the OS level ? In case the answer is positive, where can I get a tutorial or related info on how to do it ? Note: my app will only be reading readily available data from the card's registers. No writes, except for initialization. Thanks in advance for your comments. Marcus. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
