As I understand things from friends who are Debian users or ex-Debian
users who I managed to coax over to FreeBSD, the Debian mantainers are
asses about what goes into the distribution. Specifically, anything with
a license that doesn't meet their definition of "free" gets the axe. I
don't see why we should get involved with Debian, as they seem to be based
mostly on a philosophy of furthering RMS's ajenda.
