There's the anonymous FTP feature, but that still requires the user to use a different username from the one he or she uses to log in. From the sound of your question, that's not what you want. Perhaps one of the more bloated FTP daemons like wu-ftpd or proftpd will provide the functionality youwant. Ciao, Sheldon.
