Since I'm planning to change the structure of the mbuf header in a few
weeks, I think that the binary value of the mbuf allocation flag would be
almost trivial in comparison to the wanton destruction mbuf header
incompatibility :-).  Indeed, the only useful compatibility here is API
compatibility.
