hello all!

Please bare with me. I am compiling a program that uses the library
libgnumalloc.a
It does not exist. However libgnumalloc.so.2.0 does exist. I think ( uh
oh He's thinking)
this is a shared library. So how do I compile this code so that it knows
to look for a
shared library and not the other one.

Thanks
Michael
