Ted, An easy fix there would be to throw in a Promise EIDE Max or EIDE Pro card. Basically a 16 bit card that'll allow you to run up to 8.4 Gig drives in a system that wouldn't otherwise support them. Not sure if FreeBSD supports this or not, might want to find out.
