The following reply was made to PR ports/157014; it has been noted by GNATS. For me it compiles ok with compiler option -fno-strict-aliasing or at optimization level 1. I have created a patch to add the option specified above to the CFLAGS variable while compiling (patch is attached). Not sure if it is the right way to fix it, so any comments will be greatly appreciated --=-HoUYMuNqxrgk22bPfQUL Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="patch-Makefile2" Content-Type: text/x-patch; name="patch-Makefile2"; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit --- Makefile.orig 2011-06-10 08:30:54.000000000 +0000 +++ Makefile 2011-06-10 08:31:15.000000000 +0000 @@ -2,6 +2,7 @@ EXENAME = ./jam0 TARGET = -o $(EXENAME) +CFLAGS += -fno-strict-aliasing # Special flavors - uncomment appropriate lines --=-HoUYMuNqxrgk22bPfQUL--
