 Hi!
 
 For me it compiles ok with compiler option -fno-strict-aliasing or at
 optimization level 1. 
 I have created a patch to add the option specified above to the CFLAGS
 variable while compiling (patch is attached). Not sure if it is the
 right way to fix it, so any comments will be greatly appreciated
