Subject:   Gnome (and KDE ?) apps and classic X command line switches

I'm trying to use a couple of Gnome apps (think Gnotepad) with twm. I'm
finding thta they don't understand the clasic X command line switches as
documented in the X man page, such as -iconic, and -geometry.

Is there a way to make this work?
