Its a graphical interface that opens (runs) applications (binaries)
designed to be run in a graphical interface of which there are many:
Netscape Navigator, Netscape Communicator, WsEdit, (create/edit html
pages) inage viewers/editors, a whole lot of games and much, much
more.

If you are asking does it run mswindows apps, no.
