Hi,

I have an intermittent problem with my dial up to campus.
The connection comes up ok and stays ok for a short while. But
frequently, the session goes silent for a minute or so and then
comes back up on its own.

I was wondering if any of you had encountered a similar problem and
had a fix for it. I am running 'tip' on a FreeBSD 2.1.5 box with an
external USR Sporster 28.8 modem. The /etc/remote and /etc/modems files
are appended. (The modem on the other end has a range of speeds).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
