Dear All,

Newbie here. SCSI xtrlr & 2 drives. hda0 is solely windoz95C one
partition. hda1 is freebsd using installation default auto partition
scheme.

New FreeBSD4.1 installation 'appeared' to go fine & I indicated I wanted
a boot manager, got all the way thru the installation, rebooted & no
boot manager appeared, just the usual windoz boot loader. FDISK under
windoz shows just one fat32 windoz partition on first HD and one non-dos
partition on second HD for freebsd.

FAQ indicates boot mgr must live on hda0 first HD with windoz, which
seems reasonable. I just want to get it right as it's not convenient to
reinstall all the windoz software again (having just done it) if I stuff
it up.

Cheers,
