Hi,

I'm having problems getting a backup to work at the moment.

I have the following dmesg:

ahc0: <Adaptec aic7880 Ultra SCSI adapter> rev 0x01 int a irq 12 on
pci0.11.0
ahc0: aic7880 Wide Channel A, SCSI Id=7, 16/255 SCBs
sa0 at ahc0 bus 0 target 4 lun 0
sa0: <HP C1533A A708> Removable Sequential Access SCSI-2 device
sa0: 10.000MB/s transfers (10.000MHz, offset 15)
da0 at ahc0 bus 0 target 0 lun 0
da0: <SEAGATE ST39103LW 0002> Fixed Direct Access SCSI-2 device
da0: 40.000MB/s transfers (20.000MHz, offset 8, 16bit), Tagged Queueing
Enabled
da0: 8683MB (17783240 512 byte sectors: 255H 63S/T 1106C)

Enabled
da1: 17366MB (35566480 512 byte sectors: 255H 63S/T 2213C)

The errors say this on doing a rewind:

Feb 7 12:39:41 blah /kernel: (sa0:ahc0:0:4:0): READ(06). CDB: 8 0 1 0 0 0
Feb 7 12:39:41 blah /kernel: (sa0:ahc0:0:4:0): MEDIUM ERROR info:10000

Feb 7 12:39:41 blah /kernel: (sa0:ahc0:0:4:0): Sequential positioning error
Feb 7 12:39:41 blah /kernel: (sa0:ahc0:0:4:0): tape is now frozen- use an
OFFLINE, REWIND or MTEOM command to clear this state.

Could anyone suggest anything please?

Thanks,

    Jonathan
