ipf is ipfilter.  ipfw and ipf are both nice and I use them both in
conjunction all the time.  I use ipf for the actual firewall and ipfw
for fancy packet rewriting and other nifty ipfw features.  I could do
everything that I'm doing with the two of them with just ipfw (default
firewall), but I really dig ipfstat -t.  ;~) Check the archives for
more information.  -sc
