Can you ping 127.0.0.1 ? Half-duplex does not have anything to do with
this. Do you have a lo0 device list under ifconfig -a ?

I was thinking that there was a DNS problem, since I am using an external server, but that wasn't it. I checked ifconfig -a, and found that my 3c905c is working in half-duplex mode. Could this be the problem?
