Also, there is an even better way to install netscape. first gzip the tar file that you have move it to /usr/ports/distfiles cd to /usr/ports/www/netscape45-communigator make install FreeBSD will take care of installation for you. The above presumes that you have the ports collection installed. You do, don't you? :) Ports are the very best way to handle software installation for FreeBSD.
