The following reply was made to PR ports/158732; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Stephen Montgomery-Smith <stephen@missouri.edu> To: bug-followup@FreeBSD.org, tps@vr-web.de, gslin@gslin.org, Stephen Montgomery-Smith <stephen@FreeBSD.org> Cc: Subject: Re: ports/158732: sysutils/byobu has shbang line "/usr/bin/python" Date: Tue, 12 Jul 2011 13:38:59 -0500 Dear maintainer of sysutils/byobu, http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=ports/158732 has been filed, and it references your port. My suggestion is to put USE_PYTHON=yes into the Makefile, and then use the ${REINPLACE_CMD} to change "#!/usr/bin/python" to ${PYTHON_CMD}. Right now, I don't think sysutils/byobu is PREFIX friendly. Thanks, Stephen
