 * I remember Satoshi was once saying that this sort of commit log makes
 * his life a bit easier when he has to clean up the distfiles
 * directory. So I've been saying `Upgrade, old version -> new
 * version''.

Did I? Actually just the new version is fine (for me, at least). If
the logs contain all the versions, it's going to look like this
anyway:

===
----------------------------
revision 1.29
date: 1997/04/14 18:54:26; author: ache; state: Exp; lines: +9 -6
Upgrade to 1.2b8
----------------------------
revision 1.28
date: 1997/02/26 01:23:10; author: ache; state: Exp; lines: +4 -4
Upgrade to 1.2b7
===

What I meant was to at least put the new version in there. (Of
course, having the old version too won't hurt, and can help avoid the
kind of situation Max just commented on.)

Satoshi
