I have the unit in the subject line, and I'm trying to get it working.
Does anyone know if it has a preference for a particular density and
blocksize?

Also, using mt, how does one go about formatting a tape?

So far, in experimenting (using mt and tar) I've been completely
unsuccessful. I've been using /dev/rst0ctl.0 to set defaults, but
nothings working yet. Appreciate any help ... I have no idea where this
guy came from, so I can't go back to the vendor.
