Hi Can you advise as to whether the Oracle 8i database / Oracle Application Server 4 product will run on FreeBSD? I've read http://www.scc.nl/~marcel/howto-oracle.html which seems to be saying that it will run on a 'linux emulator' - will FreeBSD's performance as a server be adversely affected when run in this mode?
