 That's basically a known bug, although the fix is still unknown.  I
 tried various things (although not yet Bruce's most recent
 suggestion).
 
 I simply didn't file a PR for just myself by now. ;-)
 
 Btw., it would have been more useful to put `pcvt' into the
 synopsis...
