Hi Dave,

Few more ideas from me...;-)

Can you check what is the DNS server that FreeBSD is using
and what is the DNS server that your proxy server is using.
Are they the same, or may be not ?

What is the DNS server for your client *desktop* system?

It sounds to me as DNS cash server or something....
Can you try to use a *real* DNS server instead of your current?

Give us some more information.... as Kevin said...
