I get the following messages when using gcombust/cdrecord to try and burn a cd Cdrecord 1.8 (i386-unknown-freebsd4.0) Copyright (C) 1995-2000 Jörg Schilling TOC Type: 0 = CD-DA scsidev: '/dev/cd0c:0,6,0' devname: '/dev/cd0c' scsibus: 0 target: 6 lun: 0 /usr/local/bin/cdrecord: Operation not permitted. WARNING: Cannot set RR-scheduler /usr/local/bin/cdrecord: Permission denied. WARNING: Cannot set priority using setpriority(). /usr/local/bin/cdrecord: WARNING: This causes a high risk for buffer underruns. /usr/local/bin/cdrecord: Invalid argument. Open by 'devname' not supported on this OS. Cannot open SCSI driver. /usr/local/bin/cdrecord: For possible targets try 'cdrecord -scanbus'. Make sure you are root. I tried changing chmod oa+rw for /dev/cd0a /dev/cd0c and that didnt work.
