I have just installed FreeBSD 3.4 and I am having difficulties getting =
some of my hard ware configured.

I have a MSI K7 Pro (MS-6195 ATX IR3) MoBo, Athlon 650 CPU, 64MB RAM, =
Segate ST328040 HDD, Diamond Banshee Video
& the above mentioned offending hardware.

First the modem, it is an internal PCTel HSP v90 modem, it gets detected =
during boot but is 'disabled'. According
to the manufacturer this is not a win modem.

I believe I have to get BSD to believe this is a serial port? I've =
looked through the installation documentation
and I'm not sure how to do that.

Probing PNP generates the following output:

Checking for Plug-n-Play devices...

Second the ESS ES1938(Solo-1) PCI sound card, this card is not detected =
during boot.
Is there a way to do a PCI probe like the above PNP probe?
