Since you didn't give it a /tmp, /var, and /usr, it probably tried to
stuff 1.5GB into your 97MB file system.

I have a 13GB slice divided up into 100MB /, 300MB swap, 500MB /var,
1.5GB /tmp, and the rest is assigned to /usr. It installed just fine
:).
