Hi, I know very little about the administration side in UNIX. Here is the problem. I've done minimal installation of FreeBSD UNIX 2.2.2. I want to do upgrade via FTP. But, my network card is not working under UNIX. On booting, it has been detected that a device known as ed0 residing at IRQ and I/O that of my network. (my machine is dual-bootable WinNT+FreeBSD machine). The device doesn't seem to appear in the devices list under /dev directory. Please assume that I know very little about UNIX, which I really do. Else, I wouldn't get stuck as the current situation. Thanks all in advance. -- ================================================================================ M H Muhammad Amir Chow B.Eng.
