Subject: Lucent / Linksys WDT11 (PLX PCI9052): almost working

After reading the thread on "PLX PCI9052", I tried getting my Lucent
Orinoco silver card running on a desktop using the Linksys WDT11 PCI
card, which uses a PLX PCI9052 chip.

I added the vendor/deviceid values in if_wi.c, and the card is
detected and installed as a wi device.

wi0: <ORINOCO PCI WaveLAN/IEEE 802.11> port 0xd800-0xd83f,0xd400-0xd47f
mem 0xeb100000-0xeb1003ff irq 11 at device 8.0 on pci0

The wireless card is up and running. I can communicate in ad-hoc mode
with another wireless node (laptop using a Cisco 350 card). So far so
good.

The problem is that after some 15 minutes or so, I get a watchdog
timeout and other error messages from the wi driver.

wi0: watchdog timeout
wi0: init failed
wi0: timeout in wi_seek to fce0/0; last status 8021
wi0: timeout in wi_seek to fc07/0; last status 8021
wi0: timeout in wi_seek to fc81/0; last status 8021
wi0: timeout in wi_seek to fc00/0; last status 8021
wi0: failed to allocate 1594 bytes on NIC
wi0: tx buffer allocation failed
wi0: failed to allocate 1594 bytes on NIC
wi0: mgmt. buffer allocation failed
wi0: timeout in wi_seek to 0/0; last status 8021
wi0: timeout in wi_seek to 0/44; last status 8021
wi0: xmit failed
wi0: watchdog timeout
wi0: init failed

Any clues ?

Running FreeBSD-current from around June 24th.
