I'm using CVSup to sync /sys on an i386 FreeBSD 4.2 system. The sync =
succeeded but when I tried config -g XXX for my kernel configuration =
file I received a number of errors. Deciding that it was because my =
configuration file was out of date, I tried the same for the GENERIC =
configuration file. This time only 1 error:

../../conf/files: coda/coda_fbsd.c must be optional, mandatory or =
standard

Sure enough, the relevant line in /sys/conf/files says:

coda/coda_fbsd.c count vcoda

where most of the other lines have optional, standard or mandatory. Can =
anyone provide any insight ?

Thanks,
Hervey.
