Hi, I've been having a problem for several weeks now with trying to compile a kernel from the 4.x-STABLE branch. I've been supping the sources, but the build always fails in the same place. The buildworld always succeeds though. The system is a 4.1-RELEASE. Anyone else seen this? > make -j2 buildkernel KERNEL=GENERIC <SNIP> ===> wi @ -> /u/mcerha/cvs/FreeBSD/4.x/src/sys machine -> /u/mcerha/cvs/FreeBSD/4.x/src/sys/i386/include perl @/kern/makedevops.pl -h @/kern/bus_if.m perl @/kern/makedevops.pl -h @/kern/device_if.m rm -f .depend mkdep -f .depend -a -nostdinc -D_KERNEL -DKLD_MODULE -I- -I. -I@ -I@/../includ e -I/u/mcerha/cvs/FreeBSD/4.x/usr.obj/u/mcerha/cvs/FreeBSD/4.x/src/i386/usr/incl ude /u/mcerha/cvs/FreeBSD/4.x/src/sys/modules/wi/../../i386/isa/if_wi.c 1 error *** Error code 2 1 error *** Error code 2 1 error -- Matthew Cerha | "*If*, is the word in the middle of *life*." mcerha AT io.com | --Apocalypse Now To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
