In my case the problem seems to have been between 4.1R and 4.1S around
the end of August. I tried cvsupping 4.1S around 13 Sep and it still
was not detecting ata0-slave, so I'm still with 4.1R, which does. Maybe
in another week or two I'll have time to try the current STABLE.
