The following reply was made to PR standards/99926; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Roman Bogorodskiy <novel@FreeBSD.org> To: bug-followup@FreeBSD.org, ed@fxq.nl, Maxim Konovalov <maxim@FreeBSD.org> Cc: novel@FreeBSD.org Subject: Re: standards/99926: [Patch] [sh(1)'s jobs] POSIX compliancy by adding -p switch Date: Sun, 17 Sep 2006 21:54:29 +0000 --lrZ03NoBR/3+SXJZ Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline IMHO, this patch is wrong. You just print the actual PID of the process, not the PID of the group leader. I have a simular patch, which however prints PID of the group obtained with getpgid() for the appropriate process: http://people.freebsd.org/~novel/patches/freebsd/src_bin_sh_jobs_p.diff Roman Bogorodskiy --lrZ03NoBR/3+SXJZ Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.4 (FreeBSD) iQCVAwUBRQ3EFYB0WzgdqspGAQLbZgP/UOW0x3qc3HON7juGzZmIbpNdOnTRqvSh /NnPASI8WvD3+sX6fpJUrUvQk0oMNhI82YbkKU6NS/V2z1ww5EPIR/XvGiCJkIKW PIeGKxY6HQ243cPPaZ4WQIKIHLrW9xyJ59mx1tNeHjrBfalia2+ckJ6z1fNKFYK7 hGYHbFCAqrc= =OS8L -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --lrZ03NoBR/3+SXJZ--
