I finally managed to get FreeBSD installed on my laptop (PR Reports to come)
but I am now having trouble with getting it to boot.

Can someone let me know how to reinstalled the boot blocks? When the
machine starts to boot it accesses the HD, then the Floppy Drive and the
boot manager never comes up. During boot from the installation floppy
it stated that A: was BIOS disk 0 and C: was BIOS disk 1. I don't
know if this is how the BIOS handles it all the time or not.

Info about my install:
FreeBSD 4.1-RELEASE
2 slices, FreeBSD is the first on the disk and is set active (confirmed
with dos FDISK). The other one has DOS 6.0 on it. But I did try to boot
with the slice marked unused also.

Probably not relevant but the machine is s NEC 5080x with a floppy drive
installed in the bay. The hard drive is ide primary master.

Please cc me, I am not on the list.

Thanx much,

BMG
